The Chocolate: a bean-to-bar chocolate from an award-winning chocolate factory on Oahu. Sprinkled with a layer of roasted cacao nibs and Hawaiian grown Kona coffee, the crunch complements the creamy mouth feel of this 60% dark milk chocolate bar. Each bar is crafted from ethically sourced cacao and the highest quality ingredients. 2.1oz. Manoa Chocolate has updated the label of the breakfast bar, calling it "Kopa Coffee." The Story of Cacao: Hawaii is the only state in the U.S. with a climate appropriate for cultivating the tropical fruit tree Theobroma Cacao. Bean to Bar is a movement in the chocolate industry where the finest quality dried beans are crafted into chocolate under one roof. The Maui Blend Artisan Coffee: This is a 12oz bag of ground Columbian, French City Roasts and 10% Maui grown coffee. Well balanced with hints of dark chocolate, allspice, and plum. This lively morning brew is roasted just down the street from the Island Essence factory in Maui.
The Maui Coffee Soap: this 5oz bar of soap is made with Maui Coffee and its vibrant & invigorating scent is perfect for coffee lovers. One side of the soap features an exfoliating edge made out of the coffee beans.
The Story of Hawaiian Coffee: Good coffee growing conditions require high altitudes, tropical climates, and rich soil, and there is only one state in the good ol' USA that fits the mold. Hawaii has been producing coffee since the mid-nineteenth century — before it was even a state. The most famous of Hawaiian coffees are from the Kona growing area of the Big Island.
