The Vintage Oil Selection:

Plumeria--Also known as Frangipane, Plumeria is the iconic lei flower of Hawaii…Island girls are known for plucking Plumeria blossoms straight off the tree and tucking them behind their ears.  Plumeria is soft, sweet, fruity and floral.

Mango Coconut--juicy, delectable mango that grows abundantly on our mango trees here in the islands.    Sweet, fruity, tropical, and juicy balanced by a note of nuttiness provided by the coconut.

Passionfruit & Lime--the juicy, sweet/tart lilikoi or passionfruit grows wild in Hawaii.  The fragrance is fresh, sweet, tart, intensely exotic, tropical citrus, fruity aroma.  Enjoyed by wahine and kane alike.

Gardenia--Tahitian Gardenia or Tiare is derived from “tiara” hinting at its royal history. In ancient Polynesian mythology, the god Atea would offer the tiare to mortal men as a gesture of peace. Because of its connection to the gods, Tahitian Gardenia was reserved for the elite, to be owned and harvested only by royalty. The queen of all Tahitian flowers, gardenia is exotic, complex, intense and richly floral.

Pikake--Princess Kaiulani loved Pikake so much that the Hawaiian name for the flower came from the princess’ favorite bird, the peacock. Pikake makes highly coveted leis and is also commonly used in wedding bouquets. The bright fragrance of Pikake, also known as tuberose, is one of Hawaii’s signature scents:   complex, sweet, strong and floral.

Tropical Vanilla--Vanilla comes from a Vanilla Orchid , is a vine-like plant that grows up trees within 10-20 degrees of the equator. The Hawaiian Vanilla Company on the Big Island of Hawaii is the first commercial grower in the United States.  The aroma of vanilla is warm, sensual, sweet with calming and uplifting effects.

White Ginger--Hawaiian white ginger (Hedychium coronarium), or “awapuhi ke'oke'o” in Hawaiian, is a native plant of India and was exported in the 19th century to the Hawaiian Islands for its use as a fragrant garden and lei flower. It soon became naturalized throughout Hawaii and now grows wild.  The white ginger flower is symbolic of love and romance: fresh and clean with sweet, delicate, exotic floral notes.

Lokelani Rose-Maui recognizes the super-fragrant Lokelani (the pink Damask rose) as the official island flower. This rose is a native of Asia Minor. Lokelani Rose was brought to the New World by the Spanish and introduced to Hawai'i in the early 1800's--exotic, complex, intense, rich, and floral.
