The Chocolate: This flavor is inspired by by the tangy lilikoi or passionfruit!  50% Vegan dark chocolate is paired with the sweetly aromatic tang of lilikoi to create this sumptuous, sweet treat. 

Each bar is crafted in Oahu from ethically sourced cacao and the highest quality ingredients.  Shar Tuiasoa of Punky Aloha Studio is the talented local artist behind the cover illustration.

The Story of Lilikoi:  When the seeds of passion fruit first came to Hawaii from Australia in 1880, they were planted in the East Maui district of Liliko'i and the name stuck. Inside, the fruit is filled with an aromatic mass of juicy pulp and edible seeds. The juice, with its distinct tangy flavor, is a popular ingredient in Hawaiian cuisine, used to make sauce, candy, ice cream, tea, or in cocktails and shave ice.

The Story of Cacao: Hawaii is the only state in the U.S. with a climate appropriate for cultivating the tropical fruit tree The Cacao Bean to Bar is a movement in the chocolate industry where the finest quality dried beans are crafted into chocolate under one roof.  As well as emphasizing quality over quantity, bean to bar chocolate makers like Manoa are defined by direct trade with cacao farms across the world, paying socially responsible prices.

Suggested Pairings:  Wine--Pinot Noir; Liquor:  Tequila Blanco Beer:  Lager

Ingredients:   50% dark milk chocolate. Ingredients: cacao, organic cane sugar, organic whole milk powder, passion fruit powder, cocoa butter. 2.1oz (60g) bar.  For maximum flavor, store and eat chocolate at 65-70° F.
